Keep workers out of household space
A renovation can involve contractors arriving at different times while a home remains occupied. Explain the largest expected crew and whether household bathrooms are excluded from the work arrangement. Select an outdoor toilet location that workers can reach without crossing private rooms, newly finished landscaping or a delivery unloading zone.
Protect the location as work progresses
A clear driveway on the first morning may later hold a dumpster, material pallets or a parked trailer. Mark the agreed toilet position and service approach in the project plan. If the layout or crew changes, review sanitation before the original arrangement becomes inconvenient. Do not move a filled unit yourself to make room for another delivery.
Crew requirements and the on-site service contact
Size the brief around the crew
Describe the largest expected workforce, shifts, overlapping trades and usable permanent bathrooms. Explain whether the work moves between different areas. Toilet quantities and the service plan should be reviewed together. A simple worker count does not by itself confirm that the whole worksite meets applicable sanitation requirements.
Arrange a service contact
Name the site representative responsible for access and reporting problems. Confirm the cleaning and restocking arrangement and how additional attention is requested. Tell the rental contact before fencing, groundworks or gate hours change. Obtain instructions for unsafe or damaged units and do not move them with site machinery.
